I absolutely love this look from the J Crew lookbook. The skirt is perfect, even more because it's in the colour of the year. The simple top and cardigan are accessorized with a fantastic stripe belt that makes the whole outfit feel special. And don't you think this room from The Haymarket Firmdale Hotel that I found at El beso is the perfect translation of the look into a room?

Yes I think that would be a good look for you - would suit your colouring better than the model- still think it's a tricky colour though :)
